Holbeach St Marks is a Fenland village in the South Holland District of Southern Lincolnshire. It lies 4 miles north from Holbeach and 3 miles from the Wash. Although having no shops the village has retained its school, Church and local Pub. The main industry in the area is agriculture, with crops growing in the surrounding fields such as cabbages, leeks and brussels can be seen in the autumn and

winter months with flowers such as tulips and daffodils growing in the spring and summer. Holbeach St Marks boasts a modern village hall, as well as the Community Association Building just outside the village which is home to an internet suite as well as the community gym which was opened in 2010. It is 34 miles from Peterborough with its main line train service to London's Kings Cross (approximately 45 minutes).
