Chef de Partie

Palmers Ale House & Kitchen

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Palmers Ale House & Kitchen.

Working alongside our Head Chef, you’ll play an important part in delivering consistently high-quality, freshly prepared food in a busy gastro-pub environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard
• Running your section confidently during busy services
• Supporting the Head Chef with daily food preparation and service
• Ensuring excellent standards of food quality and presentation
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and kitchen organisation
• Following food hygiene, allergen and health & safety procedures
• Monitoring stock, reducing waste and helping with deliveries
• Supporting other members of the kitchen team when required
• Helping ensure smooth and efficient service
• Contributing ideas and taking pride in the food leaving the kitchen

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience working in a professional kitchen is preferred. You’ll need to be dependable, organised and able to remain calm during busy services.

We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for good food, strong attention to detail and a positive attitude towards being part of a growing team.

Pay dependent on experience

Hours will include evenings and weekends.

A great opportunity to become part of the team at Palmers Ale House & Kitchen and help us continue developing our food offering.
