Dearthworms are a 5 piece post-punk / wonk rock band from Sheffield, formed at Hatch, the city’s most chaotic and longest running DIY space. Their music is a balancing act between raucous pub rock and noisy unease - delivered through odd time signatures, guitar heft and lyrics covering B**M, aphids working in offices and pathetic men. They are revered for their intense live sets, and were longlisted by Music Venues Trust for their ‘must see’ acts in 2025.
2024 saw them release a highly acclaimed debut LP on Redundant Span records and multiple UK tours, including one with taxidermy puppet troupe Pish & Chips and Ye Woodbeast. Their last tour in 2025 was with repeato-rock Sheffielders Pohl. The band includes ex-members of Blood Sport, hardcore punk bands Stray Bullet and Amorous Dialogues, illustrator Nohrr and regulars of the Hatch Anarcho Dramatics and Carbonara q***r drag troupe.
They are currently working on their new album for Redundant Span. Its more depressing and a lot louder.

Knorke - Heavily embedded in the Sheffield DIY collective Hatch, Knorke are a 4 piece post-punk and lopsided rock band. Their music is fast, angular and complex, featuring heavy guitars and uneven time signatures. With dual vocalists and songwriters, they cover such diverse subjects as: peat bog mummies, stolen memories, and gay s*x, with a range of influences including Cardiacs, Devo, Pixies and XTC.
2026 saw them release their debut EP ‘I Have Been Beaten To Within An Inch Of My Life’ on legendary Sheffield label Do It Thissen Records (10” Vinyl and DL).
