Dhansak
Dhansak gets it roots from Persian cuisine, which migrated in 10th Century to India. The cooking consists of a spiced preparation of several types of lentils cooked with meats and vegetables where Lentils contribute body to the sauce adding smoothness, contrasting flavours and textures from tamarind. Dhansak dish can be cooked mild, medium or hot.
