Come and support our wonderful chefs, eat some seriously good food and perhaps drink a little too much French wine… it would be rude not to. 😉

👨‍🍳 WE’RE HIRING – KITCHEN STAFF 👩‍🍳

We’re looking for some brilliant new people to join our kitchen team at The Ship, Southfleet!

We have a mixture of lunchtime, evening and weekend shifts available, so this could suit someone looking for part-time hours alongside other commitments.

✨ Hardworking & reliable
✨ A quick learner
✨ Happy working in a busy environment
✨ Good under pressure
✨ A real team player

💷 Good rates of pay + tips
📅 Start date: week commencing 5th October

Interested? Send us a private message with a little bit about yourself, your experience and your availability.

Please share or tag anyone who might be perfect for the role! 🙌

🌶️ CURRY NIGHT – MENU UPDATE 🌶️

Due to a smaller number of bookings for tonight’s Curry Night than expected, we’ve decided to reduce the menu slightly — but we’ve kept three absolute favourites! 😍

🥩 Beef Rendang
🍤 Thai Green Prawn Curry

All freshly prepared and packed full of flavour.

There’s still time to book a table if you fancy joining us tonight!

👀 We’d love your thoughts!

We’re thinking about introducing a new OAP / Small Plates Lunchtime Menu here at The Ship, available Monday–Thursday. 🍽️

The idea is simple — smaller portions, plenty of choice and great value, perfect for those who fancy a lighter lunch without compromising on proper home-cooked food.

Would this be something you’d like to see us offer?

Let us know in the comments below 👇 We’d love to hear what you think before we launch it!
