The Olde Trout Tavern

The Olde Trout Tavern Lovely welcoming pub with a friendly atmosphere. A warm welcome to all. We origanlly opened our doors on Thurs October 17th 2011 here at The Olde Trout Tavern.

We have an ever changing selection of ales from local Breweries and from Nationwide, chilled lagers, bitters and have a large selection of wines. We aim to serve an everchanging selection of Guest Ales to supplement our House Ale, "Trout Ale" brewed especially for us by Wantsum Brewery in Kent. John & Christine Murray the previous Proprietors until December 2021 when Clare and Pete purchased the p

ub from them allowing John to finally hang up his apron. We currently have two guest ales alongside our Trout Ale available at all times with the hope to build it back up to four. The Restaurant is available for meetings and functions during the Evenings. The name was derived from a term of endearment used for Chrissy, at least I think it was a term of endearment! To everyone's great surprise she opted for the name and refused to budge, The Old Trout was not for turning!
