So this is Christmas - and following a fabulous festive season and another incredible year, we're ready to clean down, scrub up and take some time out to relax and count our froggy blessings. Thank you from all the Frog Crew, but especially from me (Derek) to everyone who has supported us in 2025 and in the many, many preceding years 🙌💚
The Frog will reopen for the coming year of beer 'n' song on the 9th & 10th January. See ya on the other side! 🐸

New Years Eve - The Frog will be closed. Unfortunately, social norms these days mean we will struggle to make any profit at all, so rather than flog our staff and ourselves, we have taken the tricky decision not to open this NYE. Apologies to anyone who was thinking of heading our way.

Holy spooks! We've dug up an old member of the frog crew for this weekend's Halloween bash - and he's ready to party.
On Friday & Saturday, be ready to swash your buckle and swill some grog, coz we're going all out with a Carnival of Costume in honour of All Hallows Eve AND the return of the legendary Captain of this ship to the stage! Join us to welcome Derek back on guitar and vocals, brilliantly supported by his very own Mr Smee, Ben of The Ben Poore Project on Friday night and the Jack Sparrow of the stage, Jamie B, Saturday. Everyone showing up in costume gets a free shot and if we like your outfit best, you could bag a cash prize. A photographer will also be doing the rounds to capture your worst side, so remember to smile!

TICKETS £6.00 on the door both nights - no reservations - so get down for opening at 10pm 🐸🎃🏴‍☠️

This October 31st, be ready to swash your buckle and swill some grog, coz we're going all out with a Carnival of Costume in honour of All Hallows Eve AND the return of the legendary Captain of this ship to the stage! Join us to welcome Derek back on guitar and vocals, brilliantly supported by his very own Mr Smee, Ben of The Ben Poore Project on Friday night and the Jack Sparrow of the stage, Jamie B, Saturday .
