Hello there,

My name is Bernadette (Bernie) Hilton. I have worked for Social Services for a number of years, working with Older People, Mental Health and Learning Disabilities. I present Specialist Karaoke and Sing a longs, to St James' Hospital, Mencap and The Bradbury Centre – Age Concern - UK. I have a lovely selection of music from 'Down at the Old Bull and Bush', 'Doing The Lambeth Walk'...OI!!, Underneath The Arches, Vera Lyn

I ensure that the sessions are totally 'Needs Led' and am very conscious of ensuring that all are involved, whether it be a little bit of hand clapping, a little bit of foot tapping, or even and acknowledgement to those who are shy and prefer just to listen. The games are very visual and interactive. I must also add, that I'm not a great singer, but it’s not about how good you are at singing, I feel it’s all about the taking part and feeling the energy and watching singers faces as they belt out their favourite song!
