Welcome to The Bamburgh, a pub in South Shields that's proud of its heritage and community. Come together with friends and family to enjoy beers, your favourite spirits, or a round of shots alongside our mouth-watering menu of pub classics and small plates for sharing. Whether you're catching up over drinks or watching live sport on Sky and TNT Sport, there's always a reason to come back for more. Our beer garden offers the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sun, while our personable team ensures you're well-fed and watered. We have parking available alongside disabled facilities so join us for a Sunday roast, one of our events, or you can challenge friends to a game of pool or darts.

Behind the scenes... 🔨
The transformation is well underway - with plenty happening behind the scenes.
It's definitely looking more building site than pub at the moment 👀 but the team are hard at work getting everything ready for the new-look Bamburgh.
Here's a little peek behind the scenes while they get stuck in.
Plenty more to come! 🙌

We’re getting ready to press pause for a few weeks... but not before one final weekend together!
