The interior has recently had a revamp & the menu overhauled as the family's daughter has returned as head chef! A regularly changing specials board, is packed full of homemade, traditional pub grub & a few different dishes inspired from various parts of the world. We strive to cater for all dietary requirements & if you fancy something you don't see, let us know & we'll do our best to whip up som

ething different. We source all of our produce from here in North Devon & are strong believers in supporting local businesses.

After nearly 20 years of being in our family, the time has come to close our doors for the final time. The Hood family would like to thank all of you for your continuous support, throughout their ownership. There have been some great nights, creating memories & friendships. It is now time for John & Sheila to finally retire. The pub will be going up for sale in the near future. Thank you all again from John, Sheila, Rebecca & Ben ❤️

Due to unforeseen circumstances we've made the decision to postpone any more quizzes until after Easter. We're very sorry to disappoint everyone, but it is unavoidable. Best wishes to all, and hopefully we will see you in the Spring.

There are a couple of spaces left to enter a team for our monthly quiz this Friday at 7pm. All proceeds go to Devon Air Ambulance. £2 per head entry, max of 6 on a team. £12 per head including food, served around 6ish. Alternatively £2 per head for just participating in the quiz, without food. The choices this time are Ham, egg & chips or chicken & chips in a basket. Happy to dream up a vegetarian option if you so wish 😊
