☀️⚽️🏏 **WHAT A GREAT DAY YESTERDAY!** 🏏⚽️☀️

A brilliant Charity Day down at **Carlton Cricket Club**, all in aid of the amazing **Yorkshire Air Ambulance** ❤️🚁

The day kicked off with the ladies showing us how it’s done at rounders…

🏏 **Carlton Ladies 11 – Foresters Ladies 8**

A very respectable effort from the Foresters ladies… although I’m sure a stewards’ enquiry into that score wouldn’t go amiss. 🤣🤣
On a seious note though, well done carlton ladies, you were awesome as always❤️❤️

Then it was over to the men, with **The Foresters Arms taking on Pollington FC** ⚽️

The Foresters(which included one or twowe nicked from the other side😆) came out on top… as for the final score, nobody seems entirely sure. 😂 Clearly the match officials were operating a strict *“it’s for charity, don’t worry about the paperwork”* policy. 🤣

But the most important result of the day was this…

👏🚁 **CARLTON CRICKET CLUB RAISED AN AMAZING £2,179 FOR YORKSHIRE AIR AMBULANCE!** 🚁👏

Absolutely fantastic amount raised and huge credit to **Carlton Cricket Club** for putting on such a well-organised day as always. ❤️

Even the weather behaved itself, which in Yorkshire probably counts as another minor miracle. ☀️😂

A massive thank you to everyone who played, came along, bought tickets, donated and supported the day. It was lovely seeing so many people there getting behind such a brilliant cause. ❤️

And then there was me… 🙋‍♀️🍺

Apparently I enjoyed the charity day just a *little* too much and temporarily forgot that I still had a quiz to host back at the Foresters that night. 🥴🤣

I did make it through the quiz… somehow.

Was I at my professional best? Probably not.
Did we get to the end? Yes.
Do I remember all of it? Moving swiftly on… 😂😂😂
