Important Announcement

It is with great sadness that we announce the immediate closure of The Plough Inn, Snaith.

Despite our best efforts, a combination of increasing and crippling business rate rises, a very poor Christmas trading period, and a lack of sufficient support has made it impossible for the business to continue in a sustainable way.

We would like to place on record our heartfelt thanks to Christine and her team, who have worked incredibly hard and shown real dedication during their time at The Plough. Their efforts and commitment have not gone unnoticed.

Most importantly, we want to thank our valued and loyal customers who supported us whenever they could. We are truly grateful for every visit, every conversation, and every shared moment. You will be greatly missed.

This has been a very difficult decision, but one that had to be made.

Thank you all for the memories.

What a fantastic festive season it’s been so far!

🎶 Christmas songs with Firefighter Lee – absolutely brilliant to see so many lovely customers popping in for a singalong. Lee raised an amazing £700+ for the Firefighters Charity – thank you to everyone who donated.

🧠 Christmas Eve Quiz Night – what a laugh we had! Great teams, great banter, and a brilliant atmosphere.

💪 Boxing Day Tug ‘O’ War – huge thanks to our amazing team. We came second place and had the best day doing it!

🎉 New Year’s Eve – come and join us as we bring in the New Year together. Let’s finish the festive season in style!
