On Monday I became chairman of Slough Conservative Association!

We are cancelling our charity walk on Sunday and will be rescheduling for a later date

This morning we received an anonymous message and thought it best to post it

Dear Tom,
From the time you opened the Herschel Arms doors to Slough, there was a shift in the. community.

For the amount of musicians who tentatively walked through your doors who then became family: For those who travelled and lived away from home, made friends, found partners and made families: For those who needed just a friendly place every day to feel a part of a family:
And for those who have had the best memories made, the best nights that may have been forgotten the next morning (apart from the photos) and for all of the thousands who have felt the warmest of welcomes:

To you Tom we raise a glass and know that the Herschel will always be your legacy.

From the last 3 nights feeding the homeless all in need unfortunate lovely people and they do appreciate the effort we put into trying to help them Shin and his supporters do a massive job of feeding them 7 days a week and I just help with my input

Lovely sunny Sunday evening feeding the homeless we have to get
there early trying to get a space to work from because the council will not allocate us one
