🎃💀Halloween Party 2026💀🎃A HUGE thank you to everyone who partied with us! Great vibes, laughs & efforts in costumes, a spooktacular night! It was so tough choosing only 1st, 2nd & 3rd fancy dress winners!!!

A big thank you to all our amazing staff who dressed up too, as well as working so hard to make it a fun event! Another massive thank you to Mark for all his graft on the karaoke! Until next year...👻

September's Book Club Review...our first 500+pages!

'How to Age Disgracefully' by Clare Pooley Author
'The Word is Murder' by Anthony Horowitz

📖Taking the winning vote for October's chosen book was by Clare Pooley! Recommended by Ruth Jones as 'uplifting, heartwarming and joyful'!

☕️A reminder our The Brass Windmill café is open to the public as normal in our restaurant area, pool room & outdoors from 11am during Book Club times.

🚌The Book Bus IS BACK! The Travelling Bookshop will be on site at October's meet as well as taking online orders with delivery to Helpringham. A HUGE thank you to The Travelling Bookshop for our Book Club Raffle Prize also!🧡

💙👶🏻Baby Carter Has Arrived👶🏻💙
What a week (& some)...Elvis Noah Carter joined The Brass Windmill team on Tuesday 6th Oct at 2:59am! Both Landlady & Landbaby are home, happy & healthy & are being well looked after by the Landlord.🎉

Elvis Noah weighed in at 7lb 15oz, meaning Loren Mettam Spencer won the sweepstake £50 & £50 was successfully raised for ULHT Pilgrim Boston Maternity! A HUGE thank you to everyone who contributed & joined in for a good cause!

A special mention to Alison Turner & Megan Fairbairn who have brilliantly held down the fort over the past 10 days along with all our brilliant staff team who have fantastically stepped up to keep everything as tickety boo as possible!

A MASSIVE thank you to all our family, friends & local community who have sent well wishes, cards and gifts and have been patient, caring and supportive as we adjust to parenting in a pub! It takes a village they say & we would be lost without ours, thank you.🧡

🍓🥦☕️SAT CAFÉ & FRUIT & VEG CANCELLED...

Hello all, unfortunately we have not heard from Fenside Fruit & Vegetables since their first visit to us on 19th Sept & due to not showing up on 3rd Oct also, we have now made the decision to cancel the Saturday café and fruit & veg stall so to not cause any confusion around opening times & prevent any wasted trips out for our friends & customers on your Saturdays.

We appreciate this may be disheartening to some of you & apologise for any 'faff around' but we like to ensure consitency remains when running something. Please if you know anyone who popped into this event whonisn't on social media - please let them know.

We may, in the returning warmer months next year, try & source a new supplier as we know many of you loved this addition to the village.

Our café will still run as normal Wed-Fri from 11am. 🥪☕️🍰🫖
