Proud to support this year’s festival and stay part of what makes Colne Valley special.

We’re beyond excited to finally share the stunning centrepiece we commissioned for The Lamb — painted by none other than award winning artist Richard Clare!

Richard is known for his bold, vibrant work… and would you believe he’s actually colour blind? Just one of the many reasons his art feels so full of soul and surprise.

By pure chance (and the magic of social media), Richard came into our world at just the right time, and we knew straight away he was the one to bring this vision to life.

The finished piece, made up of four canvases and crafted over two months, is housed in something pretty special too… an original silk screen left behind in the mill!

Phill Green had the genius idea to turn it into a frame — and it couldn’t be more perfect.

Come see it in person at our grand opening on Saturday 7th June — and while you’re here, explore even more incredible art by local talent (yes, it’s all available to buy!).

One tenant that the village is excited about is LAAF! Light As A Feather offers a delightful combination of Essential Touch and Japanese head spa for the ultimate relaxing experience! One more sleep and the doors are open!

Tomorrow we would like to ask a favour of all you lovely people. If you take any photos in Old Weighing Rooms and The Lamb and you are happy to, please share the photos with us on Facebook or Instagram and tag the pages in them.

This is a huge occasion for the community and we would love a few shots to remember this day in years to come.

There’s ups and downs to been in an old building but we think the character is worth it! Remember to shut the doors when using the beautiful Victorian lift! Can’t wait to see you all on the 7th June
