The Secret Garden is the restaurant at Beck Hall Malham, a 21-room dog-friendly Yorkshire Dales hotel

All of our dishes are cooked to order using the best local ingredients, from chef’s take on hearty classics - freshly-baked pies, fish ‘n’ chips, melt-in-your-mouth steaks and the Beck Hall Burger - to modern British dishes with a Yorkshire twist, and not forgetting our delicious sandwiches, salads, grazing platters, freshly-baked cakes and seriously good coffees. fers an excellent choice of vegetarian dishes. And as everything is freshly prepared and cooked onsite, we can accommodate all dietary requirements.

We're excited to be undergoing a huge transformation of our back-of-house areas, most notably a fabulous new kitchen! Unfortunately this means we're temporarily closed to guests, but bookings are open from mid-February and we can't wait to welcome you and feed you from our super new kitchen (did we mention we're getting a new kitchen?! 😁) Shout out to Dawnvale who are onsite bringing it to life. Today our Yuletide Yurt arrived at Beck Hall. The BH elves are already at work transforming the interiors into a wintry wonderland complete with wood-burning stove, real tree and bags of Christmas cheer ready to host diners as our existing restaurant undergoes an exciting, extensive makeover over the winter. In addition to our usual breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, we'll be serving up seasonal specials plus your favourite festive tipples.
