The Fringe Sessions are a series of intimate evening performances centred around 'McBuzz’s Barn' - a handsome oak-framed building on the edge of the village of Salcombe Regis at Th

orn Park Golf Course a couple of miles along the coast from Sidmouth. The Sessions celebrate the very best in emerging acts, breaking artists and under-the-radar musicians - not just locally but from across the whole UK with occasional international touring artists. A fantastic mini festival of live music in an authentic setting. The music is an eclectic mix of many genres - and has included folk/roots, bluegrass, stomp, blues, acoustic, jazz fusion, world and indie rock/pop - plus everything in-between. It runs alongside (but independent of) the long-established Sidmouth Folk Festival held down in the town. Live music with 4 top-shelf acts each night from 7.00pm until late. On the middle Monday there is the popular Fringe Marquee Sessions - FREE to all - (artist donations encouraged!) It starts at 2.00pm with a selection of some of the most exciting musicians and bands from the region. A lovely relaxed environment to enjoy some great live music!. The venue is adjacent to the Sidmouth festival campsite - so there is camping and showers available right next door. There is a bar serving a range of excellent local beers and ciders plus delicious hot food with vege and vegan options. Lets make some more sweet summer memories! http://www.sidmouthfringe.co.uk

The Kahunas are a melting pot of drums, wah-wah violin riffs, synthesizers and original lyrical content.

When they started out, The Kahunas sold everything they owned and converted a van and moved out onto the road. Tash and Brian risked it all to follow their dream.

The Kahunas music reflects the places they have been, the people they have met and their amazing journey of being in a relationship, a band and living in a van together with their trusty side kick Roadie (Their little dog)!

Great to welcome dynamic Indie-folk band Good Habits back to the the Fringe.

With vocals, cello, accordion, synths and drums at their core, they carve out a sound that’s virtuosic, cinematic and unapologetically fun – a blend of folk-ish storytelling, groove-driven energy and existential hope.

Initially a duo – Good Habits have become a trio with the addition of a drummer supercharging their already dynamic live show with a rhythmic drive to become a vibrant, optimistic collision of stories, songs and sheer musical joy.

“An infectious energy and joy that's impossible to resist” - FRUK

Introducing Suthering - a fearless, q***r duo whose emotionally charged songwriting tackles politics, mental health, feminism and LGBTQ+ rights with warmth, humour, and unshakable honesty.

Powerful storytelling is at the heart of their live shows, with songs that hit to the core of what it means to be human. Immaculate vocal harmonies and spellbinding moments of a ca****la — woven through piano, fingerstyle guitar, whistles and flutes — regularly bring rooms to pin-drop silence.

'Excellent musicians, beautiful harmonies and a fresh approach to traditional music.' Fatea Magazine

We are really excited to have Ceitidh Mac (pronounced Katie - spelt the Gaelic way) join us with her band at the Fringe this summer. 💃🤩
With a progressive twist to her music, she is described as an alt.folk singing/cellist, ‘Fascinating new Welsh-born, Tyneside-dwelling singer-songwriter and cellist, with an unusual, stunning voice.’

'Stunning lyrics and a genuine undertone gave me goose-bumps as Mac delicately created beautiful soundscapes through the cello.'
