Fortunately the weather held today so we got some of the deck done as well as a lot more of the inside.

Difficult but worth the effort and cost.

Today we made progress on the inside.

Someone had painted the inside battleship grey and dark blue.

Totally wrong and dark for the inside of a small very low ceiling building with beamed ceilings. Some inexperienced publican who didn’t know what they were doing and probably had their dream shattered.

At least it gives us something to do when we are rained off painting the decking.

I swear the place has its own weather system.

Lots of progress today.

The deck and especially the balustrade are a difficult and expensive job to do. But in terms of curb appeal it is definitely worth the effort.

Keep chipping away.
