A brand-new series of live events bringing history to the pub. Join us for engaging talks from some of the country’s leading historians who will be sharing fresh perspectives, untold stories, and lively discussion… all with a drink in hand.

The first instalment will take place on Wednesday 13th May, and will be hosted by local Historian Alix Chidley-Uttley. Alix will be uncovering dark truths and curious tales from our past… the kind of stories that don’t always make it into the history books.

Discover fascinating truths and stories so unsettling you’ll be reaching for the bar!

Fittingly set in the atmospheric top floor of Henry Tudor Inn (one of England’s oldest pubs as featured in The Guardian) you’ll not just be talking history… you’ll be surrounded by it!
