What a bank holiday!!🪩Stick with us as we say a few thank yous…

We want to say a massive THANK YOU to every single one of you who joined us at Sausage & C***r Fest 2026! We reckon this may have been the best one yet🤭(anyone agree?!)!

Thank you to everyone who entered and walked around our Loppington Scarecrow Trail as well as those of you who donated and supported our charity of the year. We were honoured to be able to present a cheque of £2000 to Angela who joined us from Shrewsbury Samaritans 💚. We were also joined by Ryan, managing partner at PCB Solicitors LLP , who sponsored the scarecrow trail, to award first prize to The Wizard of Oz scarecrows!💙

Gareth Jones kicked off our live music in the afternoon and really got eveyone going (check out our events highlight for more) followed by The Halcyon Band who kept the dance floor full into the evening! We are grateful to both of these absolutely fantastic performers for partying with us!

A final special mention to our incredible staff who kept the c***r and sausages flowing all day and to our wonderful customers who, despite the showers, made this a truly brilliant Dickin Arms Bank Holiday party!

We can’t wait to do it all again next year!!🪩🍏🍺

With 4 days of the trail left (and only a couple more of the summer holidays…sorry parents!!) spend one of your last few days with a trip to The Dickin Arms and a walk around Loppington Scarecrow Trail!

A massive thank you to our Rach for her coordination of this event and a huge well done to all who have entered - what an incredible display around our little village🫶🏼

Maps available to collect from the pub and then just return your scoresheets afterwards - a perfect excuse to call in for a bite to eat and refreshment!
