Big congratulations to the 2026 grant recipients from the Alan Surtees Trust 🎶✨

🎻 Ruairidh Geddes – awarded funding to research land rights and ecology and develop a new touring music project with Neil Sutcliffe (Roo & Neil).

🎵 Tommy Khosla – received support to buy a custom semi-acoustic sitar and get specialist tuition in sitar construction and repair.

💿 Meriel Paget – funded to record, mix and master her debut album featuring original work and reimagined Welsh traditional material.

🎤 Ned Swarbrick – awarded funding towards recording and producing his debut album of original contemporary folk songs.

Huge congratulations to all four artists – we can’t wait to see these exciting projects come to life! 🌿🎼
