It is with much sadness that unfortunately we are looking to sell Patisserie Clementine. The cafe is located at 3 Butcher Row, Shrewsbury, SY1 1UW. Three doors away from Shrewsburys premiere hotel - The Prince Rupert. We are hoping to find a buyer who will carry on the same relaxed patisserie style cafe that we have created. We also have 2 wonderful staff members who would love to retain their employment.
We feel that the distance from Aberystwyth is too far especially in the winter months.
Nearly everything is included in the sale ie. coffee machine (1 year old), grinder, fridges, freezer, dishwasher, 24 x chapel chairs, tables, outside furniture. It is possible to start trading from day one. The only items which we are unable to include are the drapers counter, a writing desk and a table on the first floor with 4 chairs which all have sentimental value and several items of crockery. Secondhand books and book shelves can be purchased at a very reasonable price. They belong to a local bookshop.
The terms of the lease are very reasonable. The rent from November 2023 will be £11,000 per annum and £12500 from November 2024. There are 5 years remaining on the lease (break clause possible). This financial year the rates were around £320 for the full year.

In the meantime our cafe will remain open and continue to trade as usual.
