Heading to Art at the House? Attendees can enjoy 20% off all food at The Farmers Boy throughout lunch and dinner service on Saturday 19 September.

Then, when Art at the House finishes at 4pm, the evening carries on here with exhibitors’ work on display, live music and the after-party running until 11pm.

The after-party is completely free and there’s no ticket or booking needed — just walk in.

On Saturday 19 September, spend the day exploring Art at the House at Cliffe House — free, family- and dog-friendly, with artists, workshops, live music and plenty to discover from 10am.

Art at the House attendees can also enjoy 20% off all food at The Farmers Boy throughout lunch and dinner service that day.

Then, when the doors close at 4pm, follow the art and music into the village. The Farmers Boy will become part gallery, part after-party, with exhibitors’ work on display, live music and the evening carrying on until 11pm. The after-party is free and there’s no need to book — just walk in.

But a few very organised people have already beaten us to it, so, ready or not, the Christmas countdown officially starts here.

Christmas Day bookings are now open at The Farmers Boy!

Join us for a welcome drink, a relaxed three-course festive lunch, warm mince pies and coffee — with good company and, crucially, no washing up.

Sittings are at 12pm and 3:15pm. Adults are £110 and children £55, with a £25-per-person deposit to confirm your table.

Following our latest inspection, The Farmers Boy has been awarded a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 — Very Good, the highest possible rating. 🙌

It’s not the glamorous side of running a pub, but it is one of the most important. It means you can sit down, order your favourites and feel confident in the care and standards behind every plate.

We’re proud to have earned it. Just as it should be.

Shepley, you turned up. 💛

Monday was everything we hoped Farmers Fest would be — live music, stalls, games, good food, cold drinks and a pub full of people having a properly good time.

A huge thank you to everyone who performed, traded, helped, poured, cooked and came along — and for sticking with us through the odd rain shower. The weather tried its luck; you lot carried on regardless.
