🌟 "In Memoriam" is a thought-provoking journey that Jenet first performed between 2017 and 2019, prior to her transition. Now, in this new girl-flavored iteration, she takes to the stage with a touch of humor, embracing her past self while celebrating the person she has become.

💃 With each performance, you have the unique opportunity to be part of the experience. You get to choose her deadname and the profession she had before her transformation. From there, you will witness her candid storytelling as she reflects on how her egg cracked, shedding light on the challenges and triumphs she has encountered along her path. Little Chicago is excited to be working with Theatre Deli Sheffield on July 15th to run a day of discussion, workshops, and performances all related to improv theatre and the wonderful improv community across the UK.

To conclude the day, Theatre Deli will be hosting a mixed bill show and jam, and we are helping them look for a range of shows to show off the best of the improv community. The show will run from 7.30pm until 10pm, with an hour of performances, followed by an hour-long jam.

We have flexible slots between 15 and 30 minutes, and Theatre Deli is offering a fee of £60 per performing group. Groups can be of any size, including solo improv performers, and we welcome any shows under the improv theatre umbrella. We are, in particular, looking for new or emerging shows demonstrating innovation in the sector, as well as performers from historically excluded backgrounds.

Deadline for applications is Sunday 3rd June.

IMPROV GAMES
At the The Lock Keeper, I will be leading people through some improv games. You might have seen some of these games on the popular TV show “Whose Like Is It Anyway?” No experience necessary.

The class is free, but I’d like to ask for £3 to donate towards the room rental.

I have been coaching improv for over 25 years, and was a professional actor in Los Angeles. This is a fun date night, or way to meet people. We will open with a discussion on boundaries so that everyone is respected as we explore some fun games and warm-ups.
