Another week, another ๐ณ points!
We got off to an aboslute flyer! Testing the Brinsworth keeper multiple times, we could and should have been a couple goals up in the first 20, but Brinsworth showed why they won last seasons Div 1 title, and we found ourselves unfortunately 2 goals down ๐ซ A sublime goal line clearance from the Spartan RB spared further blushes.
Although trailing, heads never dropped. Another "spirited" half time team talk courstey of Robuinhio and Spartans started the 2nd half with fire in their belly's ๐ฅ
2-1, 2-2...the tide had turned and the Spartans were back in it!
This was turning into a classic, with both teams pushing for the win. The moment of the match came in the dying minutes. A Spartan free kick, i cant even tell you who headed it back across, but it was duly met by the beautiful forehead of Beck. 3 bloodclart 2 to the Spartans! ๐คฏ๐ฅต
We showed our grit, and held out for the remaining few minutes of the game to claim our 2nd consecutive win. Not bad for a Div 3 team ey ๐
Every lad played out there fookin skin today, and anyone of them could've got MOTM, unfortunately for them, only one can be a MOTM๐
