Would you like to work in the Rutland Arms kitchen?

We are hiring a new chef, full time hours available (between 40-44 hours a week). Shifts are usually over four days a week, with three days off.

Pay dependent on experience but above real living wage. Kitchen experience is preferred but not essential. A love of creative food, and a willingness to chop potatoes is required.

Hiya! Look no further for a dreaaamy opportunity

We are looking to hire part time Bar Staff. Candidates must be available to cover evenings and weekends. Previous hospitality experience is preferred. Pay is above actual living wage (not just renamed minimum wage).

Come get some bank holiday sun!

Plumbing issues resolved, we are open and ready.

The b**r garden is ready and waiting, the bar is stocked. We even have a guest chef in the kitchen this afternoon.

Kitchen open until 3:30pm and then 4.30-9pm Saturday
12-6pm Sunday and Monday.

Bar open until midnight Saturday, 12-11pm Sunday and 12-midnight Monday.

B**r event incoming!

From Wednesday 27th May, until the b**r has gone, we are running our own version of the 'Toer De Geuze'. The real thing is a celebration of spontaneously fermented lambic b**rs of the Senne Valley, Belgium, which takes place in May every two years, with several producers throwing open their doors to the public to taste their wild, funky creations.

Taking place across the Rutty, The Harlequin and The Crow we've sourced kegs of the best lambic based b**r we can, from some of the best producers, giving you the chance to enjoy your own 'Toer de geuze' right here in Sheffield. We have b**rs from
, and **rsel on the pumps across the three pubs.

Look out for some bonus bottles in the fridges, pop up bottle pours taking place across all three pubs over the weekend and more.

Don't like the funk? Don't worry, we'll have our usual range of 'normal' styles on as well!

This week we are showcasing b**rs from Madrid's finest, . Founded in 2018 by two Brits, who had been working at Ansbach & Hobday, inspired to move to Spain while they still could. With former Garage Brewing head brewer Joe moving up from Barca, and a few years contract brewing under their belt they opened their own brewery in Madrid in 2024. In their words, they brew 'B**rs for the curious and the nonconformist, for those willing to savor life and enjoy all its nuances, textures, contrasts, and shades'.

We have two mega refreshing fruit sours, a table pale ale, both West Coast and New England IPA and a Helles L***r coming onto the taps, plus the kitchen are rustling up a couple of tapas for the food board.

The long Easter weekend is upon us.

Bar opening hours are as usual, 12-12 Friday, Saturday & Monday while it's 12-11pm Easter Sunday.

Food is served 12-3, 5-9pm Good Friday, 12-3:30, 4:30-9pm Saturday and 12-6pm Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

We changed up our small plates and sharers recently, so look out for these new additions, including:

Crispy pigs ears, served with apple and chilli sauce (gluten free)

Braised chicory with gratinated gruyère cheese sauce.

Cheese mackerel fillet, beetroot and horseradish relish and pickled beetroot stems

Gnocchi with pesto made from wild garlic, watercress and sunflower seeds

And to finish off...

Crème brûlée!
