Wadsley House Social Club We’re a friendly social club in the heart of Wadsley, S6 — hosting celebrations, events, live music & regular family fun days.

Proudly member-owned, with new members always welcome 🤝 Wadsley House Social Club is a private members’ club steeped in over 90 years of history and tradition, whilst still providing modern facilities for its members. The club has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere which attracts both male and female members and also a wide range of age groups. The lounge area has comfortable seating, wide screen T

V and access to the bar which has an excellent variety of beers, lagers, wines, spirits and soft-drinks at reasonable prices. The lounge also plays host to the weekly Tuesday Night Quiz. The club has a separate snooker room with two full sized snooker tables and direct access to the bar. The games room has a TV, 3/4 sized snooker table, pool table and dart board that all the family can enjoy. The club is located in its own attractive grounds which include a car park, bowling green, pavilion and outdoor seating area. The club also has a down stairs function room which can be hired for Weddings, Dinner Dances, Private Parties, Christenings and Funeral Receptions. The club is always happy to welcome new members!

Our Summer Open Day takes place this Saturday (13th June) from 12 noon until 5pm, and EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

Whether you're a member, a neighbour, a friend of the club, or someone who has never visited before, we'd love to see you.

You do not need to be a member or be invited by a member to attend – simply come along and enjoy the afternoon.

🏡 WADSLEY HOUSE BC – HOME BOWLING FIXTURES

Monday 25th May
Firstly, a small reminder that we will be kicking off the week with a 🎳 Bank Holiday Monday Family Fun Bowling Competition.

From around 1pm, 😂 mums, dads, kids, grandparents… and anyone else looking to become unexpectedly competitive for charity!

It’s just a £1 entry fee per person, all the family can take part, and ❤️ every penny raised will go to charity, with the winner choosing where the donation goes.

There will also be games of Giant Jenga and Garden Skittles to be found within our beautifully maintained grounds, again, all age groups are welcome 😂

☀️🍻 Spring Bank Holiday Weekend at Wadsley House 🍻☀️

If you’re at a loose end this weekend, we could well have the solution 😎

We’re open all weekend, the beer will be cold 🍺, the sun will be shining ☀️, and the kids can safely explore while you relax in our beautifully maintained grounds.

Opening hours:

Friday from 5pm
Saturday from 1pm
Sunday from 1pm

On Bank Holiday Monday, we will be holding a ‘purely for fun’ family bowling competition from 1pm.

It will be a small entry fee to take part — £1 each, and all the family can have a go.

Every penny raised will go to charity ❤️, with the winner choosing where the donation goes. 🙌

Then from 6.30pm on Monday, WHSC 'A' team will be playing at home against Bolehills.

So lots happening; come down, enjoy the weekend, have a drink and enjoy some sunshine with us 🍻☀️😄

We’re excited to announce our summer Open Day on Saturday, June 13th! 🗓️

We would love for you to join us for a fun-filled day where non-members can explore our club and its facilities, enjoy refreshments, and learn about becoming a member. 📝

The bar will be open, food will be available, and there will be opportunities for the whole family to try crown green bowling. Kids can also enjoy exploring our safe, beautifully maintained grounds. 🍻🍔🌳

We are excited to be holding our first club competition of the season — the Dot Fletcher Cup.

This competition is played on a round robin basis, meaning all competitors are guaranteed a good amount of time on the green. 🎳

As a club competition, entry is open only to members, but as with the games above, spectators are always very welcome to come along and support. 👏

👥 Maximum of 40 players (must be a current member)
💷 Entry fee: £1

⏰ All players must arrive by 10:45am
🕚 Play begins at 11:00am

🍻 Bar opens at 11:00am
🔥 Barbecue available (cash only)

📝 A member's sign-up sheet is available in the club for anyone wishing to take part. Please add your name by next Sunday.
