New b**rs! These two were canned just before our hols, and are now available on the webshop.
Kirschwälder is a smoky rotbier (Red l***r), brewed with cherrywood-smoked malt. It’s a collaboration with Torrside Brewing, which made for a fun brewday with these masters of smoke-in-b**r.
Herbst (Autumn) is a helles l***r hopped with Herkules hops from Germany. A lovely l***r to celebrate the incoming season!
Both pouring in the taproom this weekend, fill your boots!

Our new koelship IPA is hopped with Simcoe, Cascade and Columbus and launches this Friday at the taproom!

Smodfest may be over but the b**rs of summer continue…

This b**r is the newest in our “bam bam, bam boom, boom boom” series of b**rs, largely linked only by us not being able to think of good names any more. The b**r, however, is fab. And we are also liking the label.

Smodfest begins this weekend, and runs for four weekends!
The l***rs are canned and available on the webshop!

The b**rs are:
SMODFEST 2026: a festbier
SMOKYFEST: a pale l***r brewed with smoked malt
HOPFENFEST: a refreshing, lower abv pale l***r with loads of delicious aromatic hops

We also have a fabulous new l***r glass to drink them out of, please buy one if you want to take one home!

Each weekend will have slightly different snacks on offer, but the b**rs and good times will be the same.
If you have trachten or anything else you’d like to wear, please do!
And if you haven’t reserved a seat yet, please email [email protected]… Fridays have a bit of space but Saturdays are drop in (and maybe stand) only now.

Wowzers do we have a weekend’s worth of good b**r for you!
We’re releasing TWO new b**rs at the taproom this Friday. First we’ve got our old ale, Owd Eerie, a traditional take on the great British b**r type. Then we’ve got a very special visitor: Lovely Saint Winefride. A Golden barley w**e, a style of b**r that Sheffield invented! Well, here’s our Martian take on it. Bottle refermented, slow but sure, this is a mad fun b**r at 8.3%. All British ingredients: Maris otter and Kent Goldings. Come on!!

(These b**rs WILL be on the webshop, but not this week as we have some, er, other commitments, which will become clear…)

Clamp’s back!
Our hazy fruity IPA at 5.5%, back in time for the weekend.
