with their Voices of Hope Art Exhibition
on World Su***de Prevention Day

An evening of honesty, art, music and hope.
Voices of Hope is a powerful and moving exhibition and live event that celebrates survival, resilience and the strength it takes to keep going.
Host Mick Rowe hosts a mental health podcast where people bravely share honest, open conversations about their struggles with mental health. For some, those struggles have included su***de attempts. This exhibition brings nine of those voices out of the headphones and into a shared space, not to dwell in the darkness, but to celebrate one powerful truth:
They are all still here.

What to expect on the evening
🎧 The Voices of Hope Exhibition - Throughout the evening you will be able to listen to audio excerpts from nine podcast guests as they share their stories, what they went through, and what helped them survive.
🎨 Artistic interpretations - Nine incredible artists have volunteered their time and talent to create artwork inspired by one voice each. Every voice is represented by one artwork reflecting their darkest days and one artwork representing the hope they now carry.
📸 Portrait photography - Each voice is also represented by a present-day portrait taken by Kat at Bumblebugs Photography, capturing them as they are now, living proof that survival is possible.
🎶 Live entertainment - The evening will include performances by The Cardi Boys.
🎤 Guest speakers and live Q&A - You will hear from Voices of Hope and the artists involved in the exhibition, followed by a Q&A session where you are invited to ask questions, reflect and connect.

Voices of Hope is not about statistics. It is not about shame. It is about real people, real stories and real hope.

Hi! 😊 I’m Rizart, Assistant Manager at Ponti’s Italian Kitchen. I first joined Ponti’s in 2015 and spent almost eight years here before taking a three-year break to expand my skills and experience in different hospitality businesses. Returning to Ponti’s felt like coming home, and I’m proud to be part of such a passionate team.

What I love most about Ponti’s is the family atmosphere, both among the team and with our guests. Hospitality is all about creating memorable experiences, whether that’s through great food, excellent service, or helping to make special occasions even more special.

My favourite dish has to be our Lasagna. It’s a proven Ponti’s Nonna recipe that takes me straight back to my childhood with every bite. To accompany it, I’d choose a quality-made Negroni – a timeless classic that never disappoints. 🍝🍸

Outside of work, I enjoy swimming, travelling, spending time with my family, and discovering new food and drink experiences. I also have a real passion for events and bringing people together to enjoy great hospitality.

🥳 Ponti's Italian Kitchen, Fox Valley celebrated our 10th Birthday this month with a host of musical events including 'Pint N Half' - a sing-along musicals and comedy group with 'Big Shaun' Doane, 'Little Char' and local performers. Our popular 'Night at the Opera' event was back as part of the Valley Musical Festival and for the first time, we had the multi award winning Bolsterstone Male Voice Choir perform in our first-floor Perini&Perini event space. We made the most of the good weather with an outside Peroni bar and gave out complimentary tasting pots of our traditional family recipe Tiramisu. It's been a fabulous 10 years for Ponti's at Fox Valley, with members of the Management and Kitchen being with us since day one, and now with some wonderful additions to the team we are all looking forward to the next chapter. A big thank you for your continued support! 🙏
