Meet the Lychee Rose Martini 🌹

Sweet, floral, fresh and very easy to drink 👀

Made with raspberry vodka, lychee, rose water and fresh lime, it’s another example of what The Local does best, taking familiar flavours and giving them that signature twist.

Delicate rose, juicy lychee and raspberry, balanced with a hit of citrus 🍋‍🟩

If you like your cocktails fruity, refreshing and a little bit different, this one needs to be on your list.

Can you really make cocktails with Chongqing hotpot base? It’s a heavy mix of beef fat, chilli and Sichuan peppercorns, which sounded like a challenge!

We fat washed bourbon and vodka with it and tested it in a few different cocktails. Some were pretty good, and some were… genuinely terrible 😂

In Part 2, we’re going to make some changes and see if we can actually turn hotpot into a great cocktail.

What would you change? Or what ingredient should I experiment with next?
