🍎 THIS SATURDAY! 🍏 Our annual c***r release day has arrived!!

This is our first batch produced at and we couldn't be happier to be out of our tiny shipping container and pouring Sheffield's only c***r brand at the city's best new bar!

On Saturday, we'll begin showcasing our first two releases from the 2023 harvest served fresh from the fermenters! 🥂

* Generous Flavours -- Our annual 100% Sheffield garden apple c***r

* The Fox & Lazy Dog -- Our annual blend of Sheffield garden apples with juice from ***r, this year made with 50% Foxwhelp juice!

Both these wild-fermented concoctions are tasting quite incredible (third year's a charm!) and we can't wait for everyone to taste c***rs proudly made in Sheffield from Sheffield apples with all the hard work of our Sheffield team!

Few c***rmakers know apples and pears like Albert Johnson of ***r! His family orchard in Herefordshire has been growing these fruits for nearly 100 years -- so many varieties now it's hard to even count!

One of Ross-on-Wye's specialities is turning these apples and pears into single varietal c***rs and perries -- and on Wed 28th Feb, he's going to be at talking us through the flavors of these fruits and how they taste both on their own and in blends.

For a mere £20, in this session, you'll get loads of drinks and learn more about c***r apples and perry pears than you could ever imagine... a true culinary education!

In less than a week, the legend himself -- Tom Oliver of ***r -- will be hosting a guided tasting at !

This is The Old Shoe's first Meet the Cidermaker and we're starting at the top! Tom is regarded as the godfather of modern British c***rmaking and has helped inspire other producers around the globe.

On Tuesday 12 December, he'll be leading us through 6 different thirds of c***r and perry from both kegs and limited-run bottles -- all for just £20!

Proud and honoured to bestow the title of Head Cidermaker to my good friend and colleague Tom Claxton.

I'll be promoted to Executive Cidermaker as I've always deserved.

Three years ago, when I started Exemption Ciderhouse, I had one goal: Educate people that making weird & wonderful c***r was easy as f**k. Tom is well suited to advance this goal. 😂

So excited for the future of Sheffield's only urban microc***ry!

We had about 5 litres left to serve at as well... but I've heard those reserves are also running low (if not already gone).
