Today is our last day at The New Inn, Shalfleet 💔🍻
Sadly, the time has come for us to say goodbye.
We still have some lager and cider on tap — and it needs to go!
So from 6pm this evening, please come along, raise a glass with us and help us use it up.
🍺 Drinks on tap will be available in return for a charitable donation, with all donations going to the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance — a cause close to many hearts.
We would absolutely love to see you this evening, to share a drink, a chat, and to say a proper goodbye to our wonderful community.

💔A Bittersweet Saturday at The New Inn, Shalfleet💔

Today has been a bittersweet one, especially for Ross and Ella, who are front of house for their final Saturday at the pub. Despite the uncertainty of what the future may hold, they’ve remained positive, professional and upbeat — just as they always have been.
Our final day is tomorrow – Sunday 4th January.
The kitchen will be open until 4pm, serving meals to the high standard you’ve always come to expect from us.
We truly hope to see as many of you as possible as we come together to mark the end of an era at The New Inn, Shalfleet.

We absolutely loved New Year’s Eve at our lovely pub 🍾
It was the perfect way to see out the year, surrounded by great company, fantastic food and wonderful music.
Chef Dan’s 5-course tasting menu was a huge hit on the night 👏
And our talented pianist Brian Paul was absolutely brilliant, creating such a special atmosphere throughout the evening 🎹

❤️ A Message from The New Inn, Shalfleet ❤️
Our final day at the pub will be Sunday 4th January. After that, we’ll be handing over the keys, and we understand new management is planning to take The New Inn into its next chapter.
We would like to say a huge thank you to our loyal customers for your continued support, kindness and friendship, and to our brilliant staff, who have worked so hard and helped make this place what it is.
We’ve truly loved being a small part of the ever-changing history of this wonderful pub, and we’re excited to see how it evolves in the year ahead.
Please do come and visit us this week, as it’s the final opportunity to enjoy a meal prepared by our fantastic Head Chef, Dan Maskell and say farewell to our team.

There’s definitely a drop in temperature outside today, but inside our pub it’s warm and cosy with the fire blazing 🔥
Our chefs Dan, Craig and SJ are busy in the kitchen, and we’re serving delicious food until 9pm today, so there’s still plenty of time to join us for a festive bite.
