A Message from The Chequers Inn, Heaverham

As we close our doors for the final time today, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us. It has been our privilege to serve you, share stories, laughter, and countless memories within these walls.

From quiet pints to bustling Sunday lunches, we are so grateful to have been part of this wonderful community. Your friendship and loyalty have meant the world to us, and while today is bittersweet, we look back with nothing but gratitude.

We are serving food today 12pm-3pm and our doors will close at 6pm

A Message from The Chequers Inn, Heaverham

It is with very heavy hearts that we share the news that The Chequers Inn will be closing its doors on Sunday, 28th September.

This beautiful pub has been more than just a place to eat and drink—it has been a home for friendships, laughter, celebrations, and countless memories. None of that would have been possible without our incredible customers, who have supported us, and our dedicated staff, whose hard work and warmth made The Chequers what it is.

To each and every one of you, we extend our deepest thanks.

Sadly, despite our best efforts, we haven’t had enough custom to sustain the business. We don’t yet know what the future holds for The Chequers Inn, but for any questions about what comes next, please contact Shepherd Neame Brewery or St Clere Estate directly.

From all of us here at The Chequers, thank you for being part of our journey. We will always cherish the moments shared within these walls, and we hope you will too.
