We are very very proud of our Football Club. The work that goes into any sports club behind the scenes is a thank less task so here is a big thank you to all of our volunteers.

These clubs are a massive help to the community the benefits of continued organised sport are immense. The social benefits, the sense of belonging to something, the mental and obviously physical benefits that exercise brings.

Seeing those lads that started with us in 2014 still playing and lifting trophies makes it all worth while, long may it continue with future generations of the club.

Darren Moore would have loved every single minute of that today from the bus trip, the match and the post match celebrations, I can safely say he was on all of our minds.

Thank you to the committee at the Barkston Ash FA and Tadcaster Albion and commiserations to our opponents their second final on the bounce, today wasn’t their day - it transpired to be ours!
