Ready… Steady… BOOK! Summer has had its moment. The long sunny days, busy terraces and evenings by the water have been rather good to us, but as another brilliant summer season draws to a close, the days get shorter and autumn starts creeping in, there’s one VERY good reason to get excited…
OUR SUNDAY ROASTS ARE BACK! 🙌
From Sunday 20th September, our famous Sunday Roasts return to The Old Fort and we’ll be serving them every Sunday from 12 noon, all day until they’re gone!
Expect our usual choice of beautifully cooked meats alongside a delicious vegetarian option, all served with golden crispy roast potatoes, huge fluffy homemade Yorkshire puddings, fresh seasonal vegetables and lashings of rich, delicious gravy.
And because we don’t believe in doing Sunday lunch by halves, there are our signature sides too. Cauliflower cheese, pigs in blankets and all the trimmings. The lot.
Because this isn’t just any food…This is fortful Sunday food - done right, and served with a sea view! 🌊
There’s something rather special about a proper pub roast on a Sunday. Good food, good w**e, good company, no cooking and absolutely no washing up.
Whether it’s a table for two, the whole family or a long lazy lunch with friends, settle in, pour a glass of red and let us take care of the rest while the Solent quietly does its thing outside.
