This Saturday is National Pub Day. And honestly, it feels more important than ever.

Across the UK, an average of four pubs a day are calling time for the final time. Four places lost every single day. Not just businesses, but meeting places. First date venues. Sunday lunch spots. Celebration spaces. Community hubs. Places where friendships are formed, stories are shared and memories are made.

From the east coast of the Isle of Wight to the west coast of the Isle of Skye, and everywhere in between, pubs are part of the fabric of Britain. They employ local people, champion local suppliers, sponsor local sports teams and charities, and keep our villages, towns and communities alive.

Seating up to 8 guests, this is quite possibly the most sought-after table on the Island, offering completely uninterrupted, front-row views of the sea. No passing foot traffic. No distractions. Just you, your food, and the horizon.

Perfect for long lunches, sunset dinners, and those looking to truly give it some fort.

Pub Quiz Night at The Old Fort Seaview. Our much-loved quiz night is back next Wednesday, kicking off at 7.30pm, hosted by our very own in-house quiz whiz and Head Chef, Scott Wright.

Expect good questions, bad jokes, friendly rivalry and plenty of laughs - it’s always a cracking night.
