Parking? We have space for two cars, so parking shouldn’t be a problem, but when you’re out and about there’s a special deal on local car parks starting in November …

The local Council for East Devon is reducing charges to half the summer price from Sunday until the end of March. So two hours will cost less than £2 and there will be free Sunday parking in Axminster, Honiton and Ottery St Mary.

Christmas by the sea is super cosy at Number 5 and we have availability now … think long beach walks, take away fish and chips, pubs with roaring log fires and some B**r events with Carol singing in the Congregational Church on Christmas Eve and Bake off competition in Osborne’s on Boxing Day!

Platform is a family-run restaurant set in historic railway carriages in the heart of West Bay, near the famous cliffs featured in Broadchurch. It’s a fun outing with great food and atmosphere. It’s a little bit further away, but worth it to visit Bridport with great independent shops, an antique quarter ad a super Saturday street market 👏

Another film crew, another television program showcasing B**r

Channel 4 have been filming today with Kim out and about on the water and with fisherman Mike - we caught them having lunch in Ducky’s. You can catch them on Series 6 of Devon and Cornwall in Spring 2027!!
