💯 A celebratory gig tonight for the 100th gig at Splash Point Jazz Club Eastbourne! 💯

Mark Nightingale / Freddie Gavita and their “Brass Generations” Quintet entertained in a fitting style, with mighty Jim Watson on piano, melodic Dave Whitfield on bass and maestro Matt Home on drums.

Plus cake for all, gifts and HUGE thank yous to Annette & Pam Keen, Andy Panay, Barbara, John and all the volunteers that make the club happen. ❤️❤️😃🎉

What can I say?

A packed house for a truly unique and amazing night debuting all original songs, with a stellar band who played them fabulously!
It was a very very special evening! And people really liked the new album tunes, especially The Light Catcher itself 😊

Thanks so much to the incredible players who helped bring my tunes to life for the very first time! ❤️
And to the audience who gave us a reason to!

Fabulous community-spirited night last night at the !

Really great to see everyone supporting each other and celebrating dozens of small businesses surviving and thriving in these tricky times 👍
Lots of Seaford businesses there :-)

CONGRATS to all the winners - and that means everyone for just being part of it!

HUGE thanks to Mike Shorer, Annie Lorys and Julia Johnson who organise it superbly ❤️

Another 6am alarm (😱) to run the mighty Seaford Chamber of Commerce AGM this morning!

“Making good things happen for Seaford for 100 years”

Lovely people, lots of community achievements and connections :-)

Following the wonderful Carol Trimbee’s retirement, we voted in a new VP (Mel Bowers) and two new Committee members (Liz Wright and Steve Whittemore)… and I was honoured to get elected as President again… 🤦‍♂️😅

Then an interview with David Crozier on our wonderful local radio (in its 19th year!) talking about my new album project launch gig (7-piece band!) next Monday 11/5/26 (or 5/11/26 if you’re reading this in the U.S…)
