The family have asked we let you know that Mick passed this evening (2/5) in St Catherine’s Hospice, now at rest.

Funeral details will follow soon.
RIP Mick.

They’ve only just gone and done it!👍

Big News from The Leeds Arms 🍺

The Leeds Arms is now officially a microbrewery. 🍻

Sarah, our ever-innovative landlady and now Master Brewer is rather proud (and rightly so) to be launching their very first in-house brew today — in time for the summer season.

Introducing a truly Yorkshire themed creation:
“Yorkshire pudding & beef flavoured pale ale… with a punchy hint of horseradish.”

Think of a beautifully formed “head”, full-bodied flavour, (No….no fooling… not of Becka, Beth or Izzie!!!) and quite possibly no need to head home for Sunday lunch……. ever again.

Available from today… April 1st.

We’ll let you be the judge 😉

Some sad news:
A lot of us down the Bottom End knew George Thorpe, Dad to Tracy & George, father-in-law to John.

People have been asking, so quick update.

"GEORGE THE POST”!
One of Scarborough's favourite past postmen,
'Bottom Ender' George Thorpe,
Passed at the Grand Age of 94.

He Never Failed to Deliver a Smile!

Final Collection -
TUESDAY 14th
APRIL, 12 NOON
- Report to St Mary's Church - No Stamp Needed -
"No Junk Mail - nor flowers; Just Good Tales!"
RIP George - God bless to Tracy and John.
