We're all about the 'jazz curious' this week. So if you're intrigued, but don't know where to dip your toe in (apart from this Wednesday's performance by Stony Jazz of course), the BBC's 'Legend - the Miles Davis Story' is worth a listen for spanning the era from 1950s bebop to 1980s electric jazz including radical shifts in style that still divide opinion today. Hey, jazz is a broad church and this is an intelligent take on a key figure with everything you'd expect in a story about one of the 20th Century's major art forms - music, drugs, racism, popular culture and the pursuit of constant innovation.
