The quaint seaside resort of Filey is positioned on the Yorkshire coast and is the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Bursting with all the appeal of a traditional Edwardian coastal town, Filey offers olde worlde charm. To complement the town’s natural heritage there are many award winning gardens to stroll through. There is a 5 mi

le stretch of clean, sandy, award winning beach with many nature trails around the town or across the magnificent Filey Brigg a haven for a variety of birds and wildlife. Surfing, fishing, yachting, golf, walking and bird watching are just a few of the activities that can be enjoyed here. Other things to do around the area include:-

Sewerby Hall (located just 6 miles away) a Grade I listed country house set in 50 acres of landscaped gardens in a dramatic cliff top location. Flamborough Head (6.5m away) stands 400 feet high with spectacular areas of chalk cliffs and has one of the largest sites of nesting birds in England. Just 4 miles north of Flamborough Head is Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve which has a visitors' centre and is a family favourite with more than 200,000 birds (from April to August) which makes the cliffs seem alive with adults bringing food to their nests or young chicks making their first faltering flights. Please check with the RSPB before visiting as some redevelopment work is taking place to improve things but public footpaths will remain accessible. Scarborough -the popular seaside resort of Scarborough is also within easy reach and boasts beautiful beaches, including the safe, sandy North Bay, perfect for families. For those interested in fossil hunting, a visit to the chalk cliffs at Danes Dyke is a must. Please note that we now have showers and toilets available on site. There is a park and ride service at Bridlington and Scarborough into the town centres. All of us at The Honeypot Inn look forward to welcoming you to our CL.

We selected The Honeypot as a CL to stay on for the views and facilities. The customer service provided on arrival should classed as another feature to the site, as read in previous reviews the customer service from Connor the site manager is fantastic and I'm to echo everyone who has said this. I truly believe Connor will be very successful as by the age of 16 is running an amazing site which to me should be CL of the year, I would like to say what passion he has for both businesses one being the restaurant as we had seen him on a couple of occasions helping other staff in the pub when they've experienced difficulties, finally the food and drink in the pub is great I could never ask for more than this as it is perfect £15 per night for luxury is a Bargain

The Honey Pot Inn Restaurant and Carvan site are first rate. The site is well maintained and has good facilities. There is a walk to the facilities which are at the side of the pub. A road runs close to the site which can be busy during the day but didn't distrube us at night. Food in the pub excellent and because it's so popular in the area I would advise you book. Connor is an excellent host and the site is a credit to him. He is a young man who has worked hard to get the caravan site up an running. Views amazing.

One of our more recent reviews....

We stayed here for a couple of midweek nights in may the site is fantastic and a credit yo young Connor. The views across the wolds are amazing. Filey is just a short drive away and Bempton rspb is 10 mins up the road. Access to the site is through pubs carpark with plenty of room to get in. The pubs food was also excellent and the sites facilities were spot on especially as it's a cl showers are a bonus (£1 charge) which I'm sure some will moan about!!!! It is adjacent to a busy road so obviously there is some traffic noise but this didn't bother us at all. Connor is a fantastic host and will do anything to make your stay as pleasant as possible he is still at school and is making a go of something with the help of his family so all credit to this young entrepreneur I hope this is successful venture for him. Can't wait to go back.
