The Rising Sun, High Wych The Rising Sun is a family run, traditional free house. We pride ourselves in the quality and selection of our real ales, which come straight from the barrel.

We were the 2007-2009 Camra Pub Of The Year for the Herts & Essex Borders. We regularly serve beers from Courage, Young's, Oakham's, Dark Star, and Mighty Oak breweries, (We are in the Oakham's "Academy Of Excellence," which entitles us to a greater range of Oakham's ales than most public houses)

ng breweries from time to time:
Slater's, Adnams, Pictish, Buntingford, Churchend, Wells, Woodforde's

We have Carlsberg and Stella on draught, and Guinness. We serve Shiraz, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinto Grigio and a full selection of spirits.
