My apologies to those who follow the orca page, this has taken some time to post.

John, proprietor of the Orca Country Inn sadly passed away in August 2022.
He was a very good friend to many including myself.
He is very much missed.
John enjoyed meeting and chatting to guests who we welcomed from all over the world.

This of course means that The Orca is permanently closed for the foreseeable.

Thank you to everyone for your support and custom.

This morning, we have made the difficult decision to close our diary throughout December into mid January.
We feel that with the rise of cases in the Omicron Covid Variant now in Scotland, we’d rather stay safe and protect our little community here in Hoswick and the larger population of our beautiful islands.

We’re sorry if anyone was hoping to book with us during this time.
