Our meze is more than just food on our menu — it’s a reflection of family, culture, and tradition.
Jay is half Turkish Cypriot and has been making meze and traditional Cypriot dishes since he was a teenager, learning recipes passed down through generations.
For us, travelling to Cyprus was always about spending time with family, cooking together, and learning the authentic flavours and techniques that make Turkish Cypriot food so special.
When we opened KARMI, we knew we wanted to bring a genuine piece of that culture to Sandwich. Meze felt like the perfect way to do it — fresh, homemade dishes designed for sharing, relaxing, and enjoying alongside good drinks and good company.
Everything is made from scratch, and we take real pride in serving authentic homemade Cypriot food using family recipes and traditional flavours that genuinely mean something to us.
