▪️YEAR OF BREWERIES▪️

This year, we’re switching things up!

Every month, we’re bringing in a full pallet from a different brewery — not a tap takeover, not a residency… just more of the breweries we’re loving, pouring through our regular lineup.

It’s our way of showcasing beers we like to drink, while trying to give you more of the good stuff for your hard-earned cash.

Good beer. Better value. A different brewery every month.

This month we have one of old favourites, and we’ve bought a lot of beer for you! 🍻

Find yourself someone who looks at you the way Phil looks at this can of Rainbock 🌈

Rainbock is one of our all time favourite beers and it’s currently on tap and available in cans as part of our month.

It’s a Maibock-style beer, brewed as a celebration of spring and for new beginnings. Brewed in the depths of winter and matured for 100 days! It’s not your average lager.

• Year of Breweries •

April has been all about and we’re loving this Best Bitter. Fruity British hops and a lovely caramel sweetness from the malt. Proper quaffing, lovely stuff!

▪️ YEAR OF BREWERIES▪️

This year, we’re ordering a pallet of beers from a different brewery every month. It’s not a full tap takeover or “residency,” but you’ll see more of that brewery popping up in our usual rotation.

It’s been working really well so far, and having on throughout March was epic — Lightbulb and Headband on cask 😮‍💨

It’s a better way for us to showcase beers we love selling, while giving you more value for your spending money. Win-win, right?!

Next up in April: the excellent 🩵

We’ve loved what Richard and the team have been doing at Utopian since launching in 2017 — brewing fantastic beers, including some of the best lagers we’ve ever tasted, all using 100% British ingredients. We were one of the first venues in Yorkshire to pour Utopian on tap, and we shifted loads of cans of their Bohemian and Premium lagers during lockdown.

What we’ve ordered:
• Černí Speciální (Czech-style black lager)
• Rainbock (2026 vintage Maibock lager)
• Regenerator (doppelbock)
• Wondrous Isles (modern pale)
• CF302 (experimental pils)
• Premium (British lager)
• Dortmunder Export (lager)
• British Best Bitter
• British Pale Ale
• …plus a selection of cans!

Next up in May: 🎉

Our “Year of Breweries”

A year of what?! Let us explain.

We love organising tap takeovers but we’ve decided to do things a little bit differently this year.

Each month we’ll be ordering a huge pallet of beers from a particular brewery and we’ll be showcasing those beers throughout the month. This isn’t a monthly “residency” for that brewery but there will be more of their beers popping up in our rotation. It’s a better way for us to showcase more of the beers we enjoy selling, while trying to give you more value for your spending money - we think that’s a win-win.

First up is the ever awesome Yes, we’re nearly into the second week of March, but delaying the order by a week or so means we’ll have both Headband and Lightbulb on handpull and that’s mega! 💚

In April, the next brewery will be our friends at so there’ll be plenty of tasty lagers coming in!

Enjoy the week ahead 🍻
