Here's a hot take: most people pace bottomless brunch all wrong. ๐Ÿฅ‚

They sprint the first thirty minutes, peak too early, and miss the back half entirely. Ninety minutes is plenty of time if you treat it like a meal, not a race.

Our bottomless brunch gets you food and unlimited drinks for an hour and a half. That's mimosas while the plates land, something a bit punchier in the middle, and a slower one to round it off while you actually finish your food.

A few tips from our side of the bar. Eat as you go, not after. Switch up your drinks so the third one still feels exciting. And bring a mate who'll remind you to drink some water somewhere around the halfway mark.

Book a table, gather the right people, and we'll handle the rest. Monday through Saturday in Salisbury, because a proper brunch shouldn't have to wait for the weekend.

Ask any of the staff who've worked the late shift here, and they'll tell you about Matilda.

The story goes that she was a young girl who lived in this building centuries ago. Nobody quite agrees on the details. Some say she was the daughter of a merchant. Others swear she worked in the kitchens. What everyone does agree on is that she never really left.

You'll hear about footsteps on the upper floors when no one's up there. A glass that slides an inch to the left on its own. The odd cold patch near the back stairs that lingers a little too long for comfort. Nothing frightening, mind. Matilda's a friendly sort, by all accounts.

Six hundred years is a long time for a building to hold onto its stories. We reckon she's just one of many who've stuck around in some form or another, watching the corner change while the beams stay the same.

So if you feel a little brush past you on the way to the bar and there's no one there, give her a nod. She was here long before us, and she'll be here long after. ๐Ÿ‘ป

Some mornings call for a coffee. Others call for something a bit brighter.

We've got three fresh-pressed juices going out the kitchen at the moment, made to order. No bottles sitting around, no concentrate, no shortcuts. Just whole fruit and veg pressed when you order.

There's the green one for the virtuous mornings, a citrus blend that genuinely wakes you up, and a beetroot and berry number that tastes far better than it sounds, promise.

Pop in for a glass on its own, or stick one next to your cheese scone and call it a proper start to the day. ๐ŸŠ

Everyone takes a picture of their food. The regulars photograph the ceiling.

Spend enough Friday nights with us and you start noticing the bits most people walk past. The crystal chandelier throwing patterns across the timber. The horse-head statues hiding in the mirrors behind the bar. The faded bird drawings on the wall that you genuinely cannot unsee once someone points them out.

Three details, all easy to miss in candlelight. Swipe through and see if you've spotted them.

The food is why you come. The walls are why you stay. ๐Ÿธ

Ever noticed the table next to you tucking in while you're still waiting? Tapas has its own rhythm, and once you know it, every meal lands hotter, fresher, and better timed.

We've pulled together three little tricks that make a tapas table sing. Order in waves, mix hot with cold, and aim for two plates per person to start.

Swipe through for the full lowdown, then come put it into practice with us in Salisbury. ๐Ÿค

A couple wandered in last week, ordered six tapas dishes between the two of them, and called it a light snack.

Bless them, they meant well. But half those plates went back to the kitchen untouched, and we hated to see it.

Here's a little secret about tapas: it's not really small plates in the starter sense. It's grazing food. Designed for a table of four hands reaching toward the middle, picking at patatas bravas, tearing bread, sharing the last bit of chorizo while someone tells a long story.

Two of you? Three or four dishes is plenty. Bring the whole gang? Then go to town and order the lot.

Either way, come hungry and come to share. That's the whole point.

That little draft you feel near the window? It's not dodgy plumbing. It's 1420.

Dining in a 600-year-old building comes with a few quirks, and honestly, they're half the charm. The walls stay cool in summer, the rafters still wear centuries of smoke from old open braziers, and the floors have a wobble or two that no spirit level will ever fix.

We've put together 3 little things worth knowing before you visit, so you can settle in like a regular and soak up all the medieval character.

Have a swipe through, then come see it for yourself. A cardigan is optional but recommended ๐Ÿธ
