Stonehenge Ales Ltd

Stonehenge Ales Ltd Brewers of Award Winning Real Beer. The beers are brewed at The Old Mill, Netheravon in Wiltshire - It is all about beer - not just any beer, but excellent beer.

The beers are brewed at The Old Mill in Netheravon, Wiltshire. The "Old Mill" was built in 1914 to generate electricity for the new airfield nearby, using the water power from the River Avon. The building was put to a variety of other uses after generation ceased and was sold by the MoD in 1983. Tony Bunce started brewing at The Old Mill in 1984 and got the building Grade II listed in 1986. Danish

couple Sig and Anna Marie Andersen took up the mantel in 1993 and later changed the name to Stonehenge Ales in 1998. In 2022 James & Nicola Robinson took over Stonehenge Ales and the challenge of brewing award-winning English Beer. Netheravon is in the Avon Valley in the eastern part of the Salisbury Plain on the A345 just a stone's throw from Stonehenge.

It looks like a storm is brewing in the background, but we've got some other brews on our mind.
40 Summers is now racked into casks and will be ready on the brew tap this week! The golden ale made with Citra hops was originally to celebrate 40 years of brewing at the Old Mill, but it has proved to be a bit of a hit and has made a comeback each year since.

At the back of the brewery, overlooking the River Avon and the water meadows beyond, you can just make out All Saints Church in Fittleton peeking above the treeline. We feel incredibly fortunate to live, work and brew in such a picturesque corner of Wiltshire.

The Salsa Food accreditation, developed in partnership with Cask Marque, provides a standard specifically tailored to the scale and systems of small and micro-sized breweries.

We’re proud to have maintained SALSA accreditation for several years. Not only does it create exciting opportunities for our brand, but it also recognises the quality, consistency, and care that go into our brewing 🍻

A brilliant time was had at the Maltingfest this year, and we came away with a bronze for Danish Dynamite for cask pale ales! It was great to catch up with the other breweries and also sample some of their offerings.
