What an incredible finish to a busy weekend. (It was only ever going to end one way!)These Women Do had 52 runners in the Manchester Half Marathon who kindly joined us to celebrate their PBs.
Even Tony got involved with the madness although I’m not sure he had a choice in the matter 😂. No one says no to Rebecca Broadbent

Where was I?
Oh yes that was it, I was letting you know that We will be closed tomorrow, Saturday from around 17:50 for an engagement party starting at 18:00. Should be fun. ❤️

Here is a picture of my recent electricity bill for 26 days in September! (We were closed for 8 of them.) I don’t want to hear any negative Nellys. We have to do what we have to do….or it’s bye bye Num6er. 🫤

I originally was opening today.
Emma and the kids offered to help me tidy the bar as I hadn’t seen them all week. After some heart tugging and top level manipulation….. it turns out I didn’t open and spent the afternoon singing karaoke with the kids instead whilst Emma drank my profits. (I might get lucky later. 🤫)

Time well spent and I know I’ll never get it back. Thanks to all who made this week what it was, especially yesterday’s 50th birthday party. What a crowd! See you Wednesday onwards. ❤️

I do love our little bar. Don’t get me wrong, I have days when I think about selling up and fookin’ off but then I remember how much we’ve been apart of peoples special occasions, first dates, great nights out, post marathon karaoke sessions, mid week chats, giggles and of course the 100s and 100s of milestone celebrations……. (Great Segue!)

We have another private hire tomorrow night 😉 from around 18:45ish, all welcome before of course. (Don’t blame me, I just take the bookings.) Myself and the Nicole will be here tonight to entertain you if you’re out and about.

Anyone on a first date tonight let me know, I have a load of Haribo hearts left behind the bar from the wedding a few weeks ago. ❤️

Wow! What a wedding yesterday! These were the bespoke cocktails I created for each of the adorable grooms Luke and Josh. In total throughout the day we made 181 cocktails!!!! 1 every 3 minutes. 🍸 🍹 The staff pulled their tripe out and it was an amazing day. ❤️

We will be closed today to let staff enjoy the post party glow and to sit and reflect on why we are so god damn good. See you Wednesday.

😞 The fantastic Asha is leaving us after a two year stint working at Num6er. We thank her for all she has done and wish her all the best. She will be missed. ❤️ Asha’s last shift will be this Friday from 18:00. Pop in to say your goodbyes and ask her about her new adventure. 😀

Whilst I’m springing bad news on the regulars, I’ll take this chance to let you know that we will be closed all day Saturday for our first ‘full day’ Wedding. I’m excited about this one, as it sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun and it’s an absolute privilege to be a part of. 💒
