The Metalheadz Blue Note Sessions return!!!!

Only a few months since we welcome GOLDIE M.B.E, Doc Scott and Bailey to the church, Metalheadz return in full force!

The First Lady of Drum and Bass DJ Storm , one of the greatest to ever do it Dillinja and jungle guru Loxy make their way to the south coast.

The Blue Note Sessions were a space for like minded heads to get together and play the tunes they didn’t get to at peak time, a place for the left field and experimental cuts, somewhere to road test tunes that would go on to be iconic anthems and statements of that time in music.

Hastings turns up with our own Elm Street once again!

Turns out that lost bliss for Radioactiveman and meant spaghetti bolognese, a lot of records and a lot of booze. It’s been far too long since they’ve had a show for us together, but more importantly it had been too long since they got to sit down and get on the bliss. As always, they play all over the shop and we get a seat at the table. Keith has a special tune from his latest release, plus a remix by Andrew Fearn of Sleaford Mods on a project very close to his heart. Roo has some records he got from British heart foundation, they’re very close to a lot of hearts.

Sorry to say, but this weekends all night show with Chez de Milo won’t be going ahead. We’ll reschedule and hopefully get Chez back in the future.

The honest truth is there wasn’t the take up I expected, which has been the case for a succession of shows now. I love putting on these parties and it means a lot to bring so much fun to so many people in this town, but financially I take care of it all and as a lone entity I can’t afford to keep footing the bill.

I don’t do this lightly and have tried to always follow through with shows regardless over the years as my belief is always in the artist and not the commercial success. This time though I’m just going to have to take a step back.

I’ll return soon and hopefully sometime soon Chez will get to see what a packed house looks like in Hastings

We return the deep end.

Joining us this month in the basement bath is none other than Bristol legend Chez de Milo He will be going start to finish on this one for an extended 4 hour set of head spinners.

Chez de Milo has got a name for himself hosting one of the most respected club nights (and now record labels) in the country in Club Blanco. Bringing talent from around the world to his hometown, he’s fed of that energy becoming an intimidatingly good dj and incredibly creative producer. Also part of the team behind Love International and all its iterations, he continues to help push the scene forwards.

An absolute pleasure to welcome someone of such calibre to Hastings and to have them curate a whole evening of sounds.

As it’s winter you’ll find us tucked away in the brewing brothers courtyard basement. A Victorian baths, sweating dripping of the walls, lasers, ravers and no nonsense.

BIG NEWS!

Low Life is coming to Hastings on the 18th of September!

After more than 30 years of Lowlife parties 🄱🄸🄻🄻 🄱🅁🄴🅆🅂🅃🄴🅁 & Funk organ throb bring their amazing night to the south coast!

With nearly 24 years at Corsica it was only fitting that they close one of the best closing parties in club history! With that level of respect and that many years playing together you shouldn’t underestimate the knowledge this pair brings to dj’ing.

PROPER FU***NG PARTY

Bill was instrumental in helping the marina fountain turning into a rave pub and Frank couldn’t help but get involved once he heard all about it too. It’s been a few years since we had them play and now they have some free time between legendary club nights it only seemed fitting to get them down.

Bill and Frank will play all night long. 10pm - 2am at our new favourite home Brewing Brothers Courtyard

A very rare opportunity to see our favourite OPTIMO (ESPACIO) in a small sweaty rave in Hastings. It’s bank holiday weekend too, so we’re taking this one late.

Jonnie’s coming back to town and we’re teaming him up with his old friend Ben Fat Trucker to open the party. Expect a lot.

A special Blue Note session, highlighting and paying homage to the club that shaped some of the most amazing drum n bass tunes to come out of that era. A legendary post weekend party, continuously filled with the pivotal figures of the scene.
