A reminder that this Friday we’re joined by one of the pillars of modern dance music! heads to Hastings to takeover

Prosumer earned his stripes with his legendary residency at Berghain Panorama bar from 2004 onwards helping shape the sound of one of dance musics institutions. Technically one of the most gifted you’ll see and with a knowledge deeply imbedded in the roots of American dance music. Chicago, Detroit, New York, prosumer bosses them all.

I had the privilege of seeing him just this last weekend headline Optimos Watching Trees Festival. To look across at the hundreds of ravers lose their minds to his work and think this is coming to Hastings was something very special indeed! Towards the end he played Movin Like A Train, I used to go nuts to the this tune years ago and hadn’t heard it in so long, so many good memories!

comes again to prove yet again how skilled she is behind the decks. Years of experience in some of the biggest clubs alongside some of the best djs, means she doesn’t f**k about and knows exactly what needs doing. I’ve said it before, but we’re so lucky to have her here in Hastings!

Everyone’s favourite House daddy comes to town for the first time ever!

Prosumer means to produce and consume and he does exactly that. He creates and he loves equally. The lexicon of house music. The man knows all and can play all. House music coming from Americas golden age being one of his absolute joys. No man can Jack like prosumer can.

Enough said though, the man’s an absolute machine when it comes to dancefloor fillers and is one of the best DJs around. I can’t wait to host him in Hastings as a true legend of dance music.

Hastings love for fertility meets its love of a serious rave this coming May Day weekend.

Traditionally the time of year where pagans from throughout the land descend upon Hastings to salute the sun, drink and dance to repetitive beats. We like all those things, so once again we throw our hat into the mix with none other then .trax and .dj in the The Deep End.

Decius Soundsystem brings live acid house with a punk ethos. Lias of Fat White Family on vocals with brothers Luke and Liam on the machines. Scary s*x music made for public bath houses… That’s our venue?! You could find no better fit than a dark, dank basement, with floor to ceiling tiles and sweat dripping of the walls. Fortunately in Hastings we have exactly that!

In the words of Iggy Pop Decius are

“A loose amalgam of England’s most troublesome, wayward and wanton musicians. Decius gets the groove going in a different way, they kind of come at you out of the dark”

Leading the charge on the night we have Sarahtonin! Low life resident, Do!! You!!! Radio presenter and one of our favourites. We are repeat offenders when it comes to Sarah, we will book her as many times as humanly possible as no one does it better.

A little taste of what will bring when he heads to Hastings on the 17th April!

Continually pushing and building upon a well respected legacy in music, Richard Fearless has written tunes that form part of our everyday psyche, classics pieces of art that will go on forever.

When dj’ing Richard goes even darker and rawer then his work as and loves to take the dance floor on an entire journey with peaks, troughs and bleeps! Richard will be playing all vinyl and all night long.

Listen back to death in vegas, listen online to his mixes with as Goo, prepare to take yourself on the dancefloor and elsewhere on April 17th.

The basement space of the has quickly given us a space in Hastings where raves belong. A dark, backroom basement, that feels secret, makeshift, a little rough around the edges and a little big naughty are a perfect combination for the rave.

April 17th. Richard Fearless. All night long.

Yes, we return to the deep end basement at the back of the brewing brothers courtyard bar for more late night fun.

This time we’re bringing Richard Fearless, which some of you may know better for his work as Death In Vegas.

Richard will be playing a special 4 hour set, so he can build us up, break us down and start all over again. Theres something special in giving an artist the time to take you on a journey and it was something Richard insisted he wanted to do from the start.

Richards work as the founder and creative force behind Death In Vegas has taken him round the world countless times and made his band a household name.

More recently his exploits have been extended heavier sets alongside under their Goo monicker. Just last week going b2b and headlining the Friday night session of Daniels month long takeover.

We bring another extremely talented dj to the basement. It’s an honour as always to share such an intimate space with such talented artists and Hastings locals.
