Due to the storm, we have decided to OPEN EARLY – WE ARE OPEN NOW!

We know the weather is causing disruption, and we want everyone in our community to know that our doors are open to anyone who needs somewhere safe, warm and welcoming to go.

🔥 Our log fire is roaring to keep you warm.

💡 We have power!

👨‍🍳 Our chef is here and ready to cook.

☕ Hot drinks, warm food and a friendly face are waiting for you.

Whether you’ve lost power, need something hot to eat or drink, or simply want to escape the cold and have some company, please come in and make yourself at home.

You don’t have to buy anything – if you just need somewhere warm to sit, you’re more than welcome. ❤️

🌧️🌪️ STORM AUSTIN – WE’RE HERE FOR OUR COMMUNITY! ❤️

With Storm Austin expected to arrive tonight, we just wanted to let everyone know that The King’s Arms, St Just, will be here to help if needed.

Thankfully, we have gas cooking facilities, so should we lose power overnight, we should still be able to provide hot soup, hot water to fill flasks, and a warm, welcoming place for anyone who needs it.

🔥 We also have a lovely log fire to keep everyone warm, so even if the electricity goes off, there will still be somewhere cosy to come in from the cold, warm up and feel safe.

Whether you’re elderly, vulnerable, living alone, or simply struggling because of a power cut, please know that you are not alone. ❤️

We’re putting this message out now, just in case the power goes off overnight and we’re unable to communicate through social media.

🏡 Our doors will be open to help wherever we safely can.

Please share this post so that as many local people as possible know we’re here for them. And if you have elderly or vulnerable neighbours, please check in on them too.

Blustery outside, cosy inside!

It’s wild and windy out there, but don’t worry — we’ve got the fire roaring at the King’s Kings Arms St Just to keep you lovely lot warm!

STARTING 8th NOVEMBER ( after Feast) we will be running a regular Sunday night charity quiz. First one will be for St Just Christmas lights. Free drink to the winners, and they will pick the following weeks charity. If you are involved with a local charity and would like to be included, drop us a message. Lets here from the local ones and hopefully we can raise you a few pennies.
