A huge thankyou to all of our customers over this festive period, it has been busy, chaotic, wonderful and fun all in equal measure. We truly appreciate everyone who comes through the doors, for their friendship and custom.
As a family we have taken the decision that there will be no Christmas food service on Christmas Day, it is time after 12 years to make some new traditions and memories as a family and relax and enjoy the day.

Thankyou to everybody that supports us, we truly do appreciate it!

It was the main man's 70th Birthday yesterday, we spent the day spoiling and celebrating him!
To lots of you he is the landlord, chef, friend...to us, he's the best husband, dad and grandad to our family ❤️ we're very lucky to have him xx

Completely blown away😳 by the support we received on this ….we set out to raise a £1000 but to reach over £7000 is truly incredible🙌🏻Thank you to so many people and especially The Star Inn.😘 what an amazing community we live and work in☺️👍🏼

We will be looking for a cleaner on a Monday, Thursday and Friday morning 8.30am-11.30am

And a waiting on position for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday lunchtimes 11.30am-3pm

Christmas has officially begun!

We had a great time last night, starting off in Bottle & Glass Inn, Rainford and finishing with what has become an annual tradition; carols at The Star Inn. As you can see, it seems the whole of the village was there 😮
